Poker has never been more popular in Brazil than it is today. Once Brazilian players started making regular appearances at the final tables of international tournaments, interest in the game surged across the country — and the lc999 has embraced this movement by building one of the most complete online poker platforms available to Brazilian players.
The first thing you notice when you open lc999 is that the platform was designed to run on mobile just as smoothly as on desktop. Most Brazilians access the internet primarily through their phones, so having a responsive, fast interface that does not lag at a 9-player table during a critical hand makes all the difference. And it does.
For players new to poker, lc999 offers tables with very low stakes — blinds as small as R$ 0.25/R$ 0.50 and tournaments with a R$ 1.00 buy-in — where you can learn by playing for real without hurting your bankroll. Observer mode is also available: you can watch any open table without playing, which is a great way to study the game before sitting down.
For more experienced players, the high stakes tables with blinds above R$ 10.00/R$ 20.00 and the monthly tournaments with guaranteed prize pools of R$ 5,000.00 offer the level of competition and rewards that make serious play worthwhile. lc999 strikes a rare balance: it works just as well for players who are still learning as it does for those who already know the game inside out.
The weekly rakeback — a partial refund of the fees paid per hand — is another feature that sets lc999 apart from platforms that overlook regular players. For frequent cash game players, rakeback can add up to a significant amount by the end of the month. The more you play, the higher the percentage returned, reaching up to 20% for Diamond-level players.
Making a deposit to start playing is straightforward: Pix through Nubank, Itaú, Bradesco, Banco do Brasil, or any other bank, and your balance shows up in seconds. Boleto bancário, credit card, Mercado Pago, and PicPay are also available. Withdrawals after a tournament win follow the same path — Pix, with funds arriving in under 15 minutes on average.
From strongest to weakest — a quick reference for anyone learning or brushing up on the fundamentals of poker.
A, K, Q, J, 10 of the same suit. The highest possible hand in poker.
Five consecutive cards of the same suit. E.g.: 7-8-9-10-J of hearts.
Four cards of the same rank. Ex: four aces.
Three of a kind plus a pair. Ex: three kings and two fives.
Five cards of the same suit, not in sequence.
Five cards in sequence, mixed suits. Ex: 5-6-7-8-9.
Three cards of the same rank. Ex: three queens.
Two pairs of different values. Ex: two aces and two sevens.
Two cards of the same value. The most common hand in Texas Hold'em.
No combination formed. The player with the highest card wins the hand.
No-Limit Texas Hold'em is, without a doubt, the most popular poker variant in Brazil — and for good reason. The basic rules are easy to pick up, but the strategic depth is nearly endless. You can play for months and still run into situations you've never faced before.
At lc999, Texas Hold'em is available in both cash game and tournament formats, with tables at a range of stakes to suit every type of player. Cash games offer the advantage of flexibility: you can buy in for any amount above the table minimum, leave whenever you like, and your real money is on the line every hand. Tournaments work differently — you play with the chips you have, and outside of rebuy windows there is no topping up — which creates a distinct and compelling kind of pressure.
One thing lc999 does really well for Brazilian players is letting you play in BRL at every table — no currency conversion involved. You deposit R$ 50.00 via Pix, sit down at a R$ 0.50/R$ 1.00 blinds table with R$ 50.00 in chips, and when you win, your account reflects the exact amount in reais — no odd exchange rounding. It sounds like a small detail, but it makes a big difference when managing your bankroll.
For players looking to improve, lc999 keeps a full hand history of every session you've played. You can go back and review any hand, see exactly how it unfolded, and pinpoint where you made the wrong call — or the right one. That kind of data is what separates players who stay stuck at the same level from those who actually get better.
One of the biggest turnoffs for regular players on certain platforms is the feeling that you're paying rake on every hand without getting anything back beyond the chance to keep playing. lc999 gets that, and has a rakeback program that actually makes sense.
Rake — the percentage the platform takes from each cash game pot or tournament buy-in — is an unavoidable part of online poker. At lc999, the cash game rake is 5% with a cap that varies by table blind level. What sets it apart is the rakeback: a portion of that amount is returned to you every week based on your hand volume.
At the Bronze level, players receive 5% rakeback. As your weekly hand volume grows, so does your level — Silver returns 10%, Gold 15%, and Platinum and Diamond reach 20%. For regular players — say, two hours of cash game a day — that difference can mean R$ 100.00 to R$ 300.00 per month staying in your pocket instead of going straight to the rake.
On top of rakeback, poker players on lc999 earn VIP points the same way slots and casino players do, meaning those who play multiple products on the platform level up faster and unlock combined perks — casino cashback, free slots spins, and poker rakeback all at once.
The more you play, the more you get back every week. See the full tier levels and benefits.

"I've been using lc999 for poker for almost a year and the rakeback makes a real difference at the end of the month. I reached Gold level and my dedicated account manager helped me sort out a withdrawal issue in under 30 minutes. I'd recommend it without hesitation."
"I got into poker through lc999's freeroll because I was scared of losing money. I learned the ropes playing for free and then moved up to the R$ 0.50/R$ 1.00 tables. The mobile interface is really smooth — it doesn't freeze even in the middle of an important hand."
"I finished third in the Grand Monthly Tournament and withdrew via Pix in under 20 minutes. lc999's hand history is great for studying afterward — I can see exactly where I went wrong on the hands I lost. It's the tool that's helped me improve the most."
